Kille Bandha Spardha 2011


Hello All,


This year many mandals has taken part in Building the Forts of Shivaji Maharaja.


All over the Pune city there was competition held by Organizer. I have tried to capture some of them where ever I can spare some time and could view them and shoot.


This Year I saw the new trend of creating the awareness among the people for the Great Marathas how laid the live to secure Sayadhri's .


On the occasion of completing the 350 years for the fight against Mugals in Umbarkind was amazaing.
The replica of Umbarkhind che ladahee beautifully created and presented with light show and slideshow by Hitihas premee mandal.







The Model Created and Maintained by Pune Municipal Corporation in Sambaji park.

Prabalgad and kalavantini buruj....



Pratapgad che mahasangram was presented at Shukrwar peth Pune. 


The have beautifully replaced the geographical area of Pratapgad and in short place perfectly managed with lots of study regarding how the Shivaji Maharaj concurred the Fort Pratapgad.




The Light and sound effects was so amazing that you cannot leave the place until you watch the show twice.

Chalkhewadi Windmill Project 2011


Visit to Chalkhewadi Windmill Project 2011.




This year was the first time to visit any government project and that too which is successfully maintained for last five years.

This was first time to see the windmill from so closely standing just below to it.

The Green Path to reach Chalkhewadi....



Rain clouds was started gathering on the mountains of Chalkhewadi.....





The Green Mountains with beautiful shaped trees, these trees grow in same shape they are not maintained or manage by anyone...





23 meters long blade which has huge weight at the top and need enough strength to rotate them.....

Think how much power would that wind would be carrying to rotate these huge blades...

While coming back we can see Sanjjangad from the ghats of Chalkhewadi....

Bamnoli


Bamnoli Satara.


The route to Bamnoli is so beautiful that one can imagine that we are moving from dense forest. To enjoy this nature we drive all the way on two wheeler. from satara bamnoli would around 45 kms.





After crossing beautiful ghats of bamnoli we where coming in full speed on the step slope of bamnoli's ghat.

In the ghats of the bamnoli you need to drive very carefully as many reptiles cross the road in between, the gorpad that cut our road while going to Bamnoli.





One spot before entering the Bamnoli village on the left had side you view full range of sayadri ranges which are full of greenery.





As per me this was the best place to shoot the landscape shoots every where green green and green





Due to fog or you can say water vapouration the right side of kayana rive was not that clear to view.





Trying to look the complete 180 degree view of the scenery at Urmodi dam which Supplies water to Satara District.





The Mountain ranges which supports to accumulate the water in the rainy season and the wall of Urmodi dam is built in between these two Mountain Ranges.




On the thirsty afternoon these Villager family serve you with fresh buttermilk and lemon juice at moderate rates.
